Course 2 Gemmology for Designers

Course Fees

The material kit includes

  • Guides and Templates
  • Different types of high-quality paper
  • Handouts to help you to progress your sketching skills
  • Mechanical pencil, coloured pencils and eraser
  • White paint and brush

After the course, you will

  • Have gained the basic knowledge of gemmology.
  • Have created several drawings of gemstones and gemstone cuts.
  • Have earned a letter of completion from Jaqc’s Jewellery Academy.

What else is important?

  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. There is a lovely cafe inside the Rudolf Steiner house where you can spend time before the class starts at 10:30 am.
  • At 10:20 am you will be picked up in the entrance hall. After a short introduction, we will proceed to the classroom.
  • Please make sure you are on time. This class is intense and the tutor won’t be able to repeat any of the subjects you might miss by being late.
  • There will be a lunch break from 12:30 to 1 pm. You might want to bring something to drink, snacks and food with you. Even if the cafe serves food and a supermarket is on the opposite side of the street, you might not have time to buy food before the class start again.
  • You will learn a lot from this class. However, you need to carry on practising to become proficient in the art of perspective drawing.
