Come and join us on the 29th of June 2024 to learn how to make embossed jewellery using 3D printed tools.

This course put a modern spin on the ancient art of embossing. You will learn how to shape metal  using 3D printed tools. This unique technique will allow you to create a sculptural and 3dimensional jewellery easily.

You can choose between making copper or silver earrings or a pendant.

Please book at least one week in advance of the course date.

 

Level: Beginner

There is no prior knowledge required. If you have previous experience you will be able to develop and extend your knowledge and skills.

 

Location: Our Workshop in Zechin.

Zechin is a small village in the beautiful “Oderbruch” area about 1 hour from East Berlin.

This area is famous for its wide landscape, lakes, and vegetable and fruit cultivation.

It is a perfect spot to relax and have a break from busy city life.

What will you learn?

It will cover some basic skills of jewellery making like cutting, drilling, annealing and polishing. But we will mainly focus on shaping metal using 3D printed tools. You can create either a pendant or earrings in silver or copper.

 

What will you need to bring?

We will supply all the tools and equipment needed for jewellery making.

You will be provided with copper sheet. Also, you can purchase silver sheet, silver wire, and saw blades from your tutor.

For health and safety reasons, please wear closed shoes. Long hair has to be tied back.
