Come and join us on the 22nd of June 2024 to learn how to make textured jewellery using beautiful local plants.

In this workshop, we will make a piece of jewelry out of silver and/or copper. We are going to use different local plants like leaves or wildflowers to give each piece an individual texture and design.

You can choose between making copper or silver earrings or a pendant.


Course Overview

Please book at least one week in advance of the course date.


Level: Beginner

There is no prior knowledge required. If you have previous experience you will be able to develop and extend your knowledge and skills.


Location: Our Workshop in Zechin.

Zechin is a small village in the beautiful “Oderbruch” area about 1 hour from East Berlin.

This area is famous for its wide landscape, lakes, and vegetable and fruit cultivation.

It is a perfect spot to relax and have a break from busy city life.

What will you learn?

It will cover some basic skills of jewellery making through demonstration and individual practice. This course aims to teach you a range of jewellery manufacturing skills and techniques to gain a greater understanding of the jewellery-making process.

As a beginner, you will learn the basic skills of piercing, filing, drilling, texturing, annealing, forming, soldering and polishing. You can create either a pendant, earrings or a ring in silver and/or copper.


What will you need to bring?

We will supply all the tools and equipment needed for jewellery making.

You will be provided with copper sheet. Also, you can purchase silver sheet, silver wire, and saw blades from your tutor.

For health and safety reasons, please wear closed shoes. Long hair has to be tied back.
