Course 3: How to illustrate simple and complex metal surfaces

What will you learn

  • How to shade different gold alloys like yellow, pink and white gold
  • How to illustrate different setting styles, rings, bangles and other jewellery designs

Course fees

  • Mechanical pencil and eraser
  • Different types of high quality paper
  • Handouts to help you to progress your sketching skills

After this course, you will have

  • Several drawings of metal jewellery designs
  • More confidence in designing jewellery
  • A certificate from Jaqc’s Jewellery Academy for completing the course

And last but not least a few important things

  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. There is a nice seating area inside the Rudolf Steiner House and a lovely cafe.
  • You will be picked up in the entrance hall at 10:20 am and after a quick introduction, we will make our way to the classroom.
  • This is an intensive class. If you are late, the tutor will not be able to catch you up.
  • There will be a short lunch break between 12:30 and 1pm.
  • You should bring some snacks, water and food with you. Even if there is a supermarket on the other side of the road and the cafe that serves food, you might not have enough time before the class continues.
